MTAS ‘Spring Affair’ Exhibition
21st – 23rd October 2022
The Macquarie Towns Arts Society will have their Spring Affair Exhibition from 21st until the 23rd of October 2022.
The opening is on Friday, 21st October, 7:30pm at Richmond School of Arts, Cnr of West Market and March St Richmond and will continue until Sat, 22nd & Sun, 23rd from 10am to 4pm. All Free Entry.
Come and see over 130 artworks from popular local artists, such as John Shields, Gloria Galvin, Yvonne West, Jeanette Starr, Deidre Morrison, Kym Morris, Mark Wilson, Maryanne Jones and many more.
The artworks will be judged by well-known artist, Dario Falzon and the exhibition will be opened by Danielle Thompson, President of the Hawkesbury Valley Toastmasters Club.
This is an Open Exhibition with prizes in all seven sections of artworks together with Best in Show and People’s Choice awards. There will be artworks in a variety of media eg. oil, acrylic, watercolour and other mediums painted as watercolour, drawing including ink, charcoal and pencil, pastel, printmaking, contemporary and mixed media plus also a small paintings category.
Non-members and artists from other areas are welcome to enter.
All artworks will be for sale. Various handmade crafts, jewellery, resin works, pottery and handmade cards, will also be on sale.
This is a wonderful opportunity to do some early Christmas shopping! Buy gifts for your family and friends or just spoil yourself with a special piece of art or handmade craft.
